Plant-Based BBQ “Chicken” Meatloaf

1 package JADA Chick’N Mix Barbeque Flavor*

½ yellow onion, minced

1 clove of garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 egg**

1/3 cup Cauli Crunch Taste of Italy

Your favorite BBQ sauce for the glaze (TruMade Foods Kansas City BBQ sauce)

preparation

Preheat oven to 375° and prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and greased with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil

Prepare JADA Chick’N Mix according to packaging

Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions over medium heat until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes more.

Add cooked onions, Worcestershire sauce, egg and Cauli Crunch to Chick’N Mix and mix until combined.

Use your hands to shape mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking pan, about 4”wide x 6”long x 1/5”high.

Pour BBQ over the loaf, letting it drip down the sides.

Bake for 20 minutes at 375.

 

*You can substitute JADA Chick’N Mix Original flavor and add a little BBQ sauce to the mixture.

**Make the recipe vegan by substituting a flax egg (¼ c. water and 1 tbsp flax seed = 1 egg)
